Dietician
Caoimhe McDonald (BSc Human Nutrition & Dietetics M.I.N.D.I.) is our resident Dietician and Nutritionist. She has many years clinical experience working with a broad range of patients in need of nutritional support and dietary advice. As well as working with us here at Clonard Medical, Caoimhe is also involved in a number of research programmes in St. James's Hospital and is also a member of the weight management interest group and sports nutrition interest group in the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute.
Caoimhe has a broad range of interests and specialises particularly in the area of overweight and obesity, malnutrition, cancer support, diabetes, cholesterol, osteoporosis, bowel problems and pregnancy. Each patient is seen individually and Caoimhe takes a very supportive approach to guide her patients to achieve their personal, realistic and obtainable goals.
