Doctor Dublin

Clonard surgery itself has been at the current address in Sandyford Dublin for the past 30 years.

Dr. McDowell took over the practice from Dr Burke in 1994. Dr. McDowell would often treat as many as three generations of one family from the Clonard area. In recent years he has been joined by Dr. Murphy and Dr. Weyham and Practice Nurse Karen.

 

GP Dublin

Since taking over the GP in Dublin, Dr. McDowell has tried to provide increasing primary care onsite for the local community in an effort to minimise referrals to emergency hospital departments.

All doctors at Clonard Medical are committed to providing total community based family care. This fine tradition is carried out by all medical and support staff. In that same regard, everyone at Clonard Medical pride themselves on placing their patients’ needs at the centre of everything that they do.
